On Sunday, March 30, former Desoto Central High School standout Connar Gardner’s current college team, the Delta State Statesmen, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Alabama Huntsville Chargers.
The game took place at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field. This was their third matchup against the Chargers this season.
The Statesmen’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 3 p.m. at Clyde Berry Field against Henderson State Reddies.
