Delta State Lady Statesmen earned an 8-0 win over the Henderson State Reddies in NCAA Division II softball Wednesday, March 4, at 4 p.m. Former Desoto Central High School standout Hallie Turner contributed to the victory.
The matchup took place at Delta University Field and marked the teams’ second meeting this season. The Statesmen previously defeated the Reddies 4-2 earlier on Wednesday, March 4.
Turner posted one hit in two at-bats, drove in a run and drew a walk.
The Statesmen are scheduled to play their next game against Christian Brothers Buccaneers on Saturday, March 7, at 1 p.m. at Delta University Field.
