Supervisors Jessie Medlin and Ray Denison led today’s Solid Waste Committee meeting.
Improving household garbage service, managing the county rubbish pit on Sandidge, and working with the private rubbish pits are some of the biggest responsibilities of the committee.
The Supervisors, along with Environmental Services and the City Planner, work hard and dedicate a lot of time managing solid waste for unincorporated DeSoto County and holding companies accountable when things don’t go right.
