Day two of the Junior Deputy Academy was just as exciting as day one.
Sgt. J. Haywood went over his patrol equipment with them. He described some patrol functions to give them some understanding of what patrol does and why they do it.
Two Special Investigations Division Deputies told them about the dangers of drugs, and about how their investigations help keep them safe.
Lt. J. Prewitt, Deputy H. Garrett, and Deputy J. Bramlett displayed some of their SWAT equipment and vehicles. The kids were delighted to have a little bit of hands on with some of the equipment and see a small demonstration.
