Please be aware of this scam.
We are aware that a phone scam of an individual impersonating themselves as Captain Kyle Hodge is calling residents. The impersonator is stating there is a warrant for the citizens arrest and that fines should be paid immediately or an arrest will occur.
We would like to inform our residents that we will NEVER call you demanding money or gift cards in place of issuing a warrant.
If you receive a call demanding any of these, or other gift cards in lieu of an arrest, please be aware that it is a scam.
