Good afternoon, the City of Hernando Public Works Department and Waste Connections wants to send a friendly reminder, to break down all cardboard boxes. So they will fit in the waste and recycling receptacles. This saves all of our drivers time and reduces trips for the trucks to unload.
TRASH SCHEDULE
Trash and recycling will be delayed by one day for the next two weeks.
Regular Monday service will be collected on Tuesday
Regular Tuesday service will be collected on Wednesday
Regular Wednesday service will be collected on Thursday
Regular Thursday service will be collected on Friday
Regular Friday service will be collected on Saturday
Waste Connections will be closed along with the landfill and recycling plants on Monday the 26th of December and Monday January the 2nd. Nothing will be picked up these days.
